Bonus Tips

Here are some bonus tips that I have observed in my 15 years of DJ-ing at weddings:

DJ Tip #1:
The sequences of events is more important than the actual timing for each event (that is why I have left out timing information in the above template). The program will flow naturally once the event starts, and there is no need to stress out over performing each event at a fixed timing.

DJ Tip #2:
The childhood montage and highlights video builds the atmosphere for your 1st and 2nd March-ins respectively. Also, your March-in songs naturally build the atmosphere and energy to lead into your cake-cutting or champagne pouring. Some people might advise you to shift your highlights video to AFTER your 2nd March-in. I DON’T recommend that as it disrupts the flow of energy and momentum built up from your March-in song which is supposed to lead in to your champagne pouring. Stick to the above sequence and your guests will enjoy undisrupted energy flow.

Conclusion:
The sequence of events at weddings is pretty straightfoward and you can follow or tweak the above sequence based on your preferences.
